Reverse Engraving

The majority of engraving is one colour and carried out on the surface. However, reverse engraving can be completed on a special laminate that is engraved on the reverse and then filled with coloured fillers (see the bottom photo).

By reverse engraving it keeps the surface smooth and is therefore primarily used in the food industry where hygiene and cleanliness is essential.
